Digital Imaging

Working with our Title Plant, our full-service Digital Imaging Department is staffed by experienced imagers with quality equipment. We can shoot an entire section in a few days and, after we finish, we’ll provide you with a digital abstract of every page in each document.

Mapping

What began as a pile (or room) of legal pads back in 1976 is now a single, interactive map. Layers of customizable information can be called and condensed with a few clicks. Data is on-demand for accurate, relevant information at your fingertips. No filing cabinet needed.

Determination of Mineral Rights

Our title group’s experience comes from work across all major US plays. So whether you need cursory courthouse reports or full-detail ownership reports, your project is in knowledgeable, capable hands. For more complex held by production projects, our HBP team works efficiently to provide accurate reporting in a cost-effective manner.

Lease Acquisition

Our leasing group’s diverse experience makes us capable of handling simple leases to large-scale, multi-faceted leasing projects. Equally well versed in Federal and BIA lease acquisitions, we understand how important it is for the legal documentation to be exact—the first time.

While we work, you’ll be able to keep track of our progress with weekly reports and cost accounting that’s sensitive to current prices.

Right of Way

When it comes to our Right-of-Way agents, it’s the consistent, personable communication that makes us special. We know that’s easy to say. What it means for our clients and landowners, however, makes all the difference. We tailor our line lists and maps to our client, based on what’s most important to them. We also work directly with surveyors and contractors, “bird-dogging” the project so that it’s laid exactly as the executed documents require.

As a result, we reduce the risk of costly mistakes and extra surface damages while solidifying the landowner’s confidence in us.

Title Curative

Before anyone steps foot on the drilling site, our Title Curative team takes the attorney’s requirements (whether 10 or 100) and efficiently procures all necessary documents to fulfill them.

We provide reliable curative to satisfy drilling title opinion or division order title opinion requirements.

Seismic Acquisition

In addition to purchasing seismic permits or seismic permits with the option to lease for our clients, our team can also oversee the surveying and acquisition processes of seismic shoots.

Due Diligence

Our greatest asset, regardless of which services you choose, is our experienced team. Whether your project is large or small, our Acquisitions and Divestures team's expertise can assist you with any due diligence needs.

Regulatory Commission

It doesn’t matter where in the US your project is located. Our Regulatory Commission Department has prepared and provided expert witness testimony at the BIA, State and Federal levels. Each state and/or agency involved comes with its own set of requirements, but our experienced team can lead you through the process to quickly and correctly satisfy them.

Surface Access Agreements

We’ve adapted many of our processes as the industry evolved, but the way we treat people is the same. No matter how many owners are involved in the process, each party receives the same level of respect and attention.
